The participants started this month as usual by having their daily lessons and weekly quizzes, teachers have noticed that students are being more motivated than before and now have the courage to speak in English.
One of the remarkable marks in this week was the visit of one of our old participants (shvan) on the 8th of October 2011, he had participated in our five month English language course and is working in the American base. We decided to introduce him to the participants of the interchange program and give them the chance to practice the English language with him in class under the supervision of the teacher.
On the 10th of October 2011 students celebrated Christopher Columbus day as they had a presentation on the data show about his life and long time career.
Students also took turns in explaining the life of Christopher Columbus in both the English language and their mother tongue language.
Teachers also concentrated on group work as they gave students the chance of working in groups to practice their everyday English.
