- On Jan 2nd 2011 a meetings were held in some preparatory schools and intermediate schools for girls to explain the details of English Access Micro scholarship Program as they were invited to participate in the program. Mr. Khalid Obeid gave details about the importance of ethnically balanced participation system and gender as well. He added that this program is free for all participants and cars will be allocated for them to facilitate the participation process.
- On Jan 5th 2011 a meeting was held with students’ parents to clarify the main points of participation system such as the participation is free and it doesn’t impede the students during the school days as the classes will be in two different times (in the mornings and in the afternoons ) 3 days per week .Two-hour session and 15 minutes break .While during the examination weeks there will be no classes.
- On Jan 8th 2011 all students’ parents notified to fill out the written commitment form which should be endorsed then submitted by per student to ensure regular participation in the program .Students’ parent have been informed about the length of the program as the students should attend it regularly otherwise student’s parent should pay a fine .
- More than 147 boys and girls enrolled during the recruitment process.
- On Jan 10th the applicants’ forms have been sorted out and selected according to the terms and ethnically balanced. We inquired about each student’s school shift (morning or afternoon) to arrange their sessions accordingly.
